As Director of Business Development and Client Services, Candace helps drive internal and external client development strategies. She also supports client and community relations and brand enhancement initiatives for the Atlantic region.
Through client experience-based legal marketing and business development advice, coaching and collaboration, Candace helps lawyers and client service teams acquire new clients, deepen existing client relationships, differentiate their services, and navigate the intersection between law and business by mobilizing around the client experience for improved focus, innovation and results.
By listening to each client’s views and concerns, responding to needs and articulating a shared understanding of priorities, Candace is a key contributor to the firm’s superior client service standards and is a trusted resource for our attorneys, clients and referral networks.
With 10+ years of experience in professional services, commercial business development and sales, Candace has built a reputation as a “super-connector” throughout the region, particularly in the economic development, legal, energy, life sciences, manufacturing and technology industries.
Candace is a strategic partner and member of regional business groups including BWI Business Partnership, Greater Baltimore Committee, Maryland Chamber of Commerce, World Trade Center Institute (WTCI), as well as industry-focused organizations including Association of Corporate Growth (ACG), BioHealth Innovation, Delaware BIO, Maryland Tech Council, Regional Manufacturing Institute and The Business Network for Offshore Wind.
Candace also regularly supports the Association for Corporate Counsel (ACC) locally and nationally, the Corporate Legal Operations Consortium (CLOC) and the Legal Marketing Association. In the community, Candace is involved with Junior Achievement of Central Maryland and Baltimore Corps.
