Old Line recently attended the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) Legislative Summit in Indianapolis. Whether meeting with legislators, supporting clients such as the Healthcare Distribution Alliance (HDA), or connecting with members of the National League of Women Lobbyists (an organization led by our very own Sherry Nickerson), the conference was the start of a very full week.
The conference included inspirational keynote speakers, networking, policy discussions, and the opportunity to share perspectives, exchange ideas and learn what’s working (and not) in other states. In the home of the Indy 500, the program included “fast-track” learning and innovative solutions to “fuel” new ideas.
Presentations covered state and federal topics including artificial intelligence, early child policies, defensive cybersecurity, election administration, affordable housing, broadband challenges, leadership lessons from “Hamilton” and so much more.
