Legislators made it past an important milestone in the current legislative session: Crossover Day. Hundreds of bills have been addressed in both the House and the Senate, and many have crossed between the delegates and senators. Bills covering topics ranging from cannabis to earned income tax credits are on the docket, and there’s still much more to come in the remaining days.

Old Line’s lobbyists have been tracking legislative updates closely and meeting frequently with legislators, representing clients’ interests, discussing language for key bills, monitoring committee meetings and more. With 20 days remaining until Sine Die (the end of session), “It’s going to be tight,” as Senate President Bill Ferguson said.
