American Joe is a Champ!

In 1994, after nearly two decades of hard work in the Maryland General Assembly, American Joe ran for Governor. Running his campaign like a true small-businessman, American Joe made a name for himself outside of Baltimore, the city he grew up in, represented, and loved, and went on to garner over 100,000 votes in the Democratic primary election. He came in second to Parris Glendening, who would then go on to be elected Governor.
