In a ceremony earlier today, Maryland Governor Larry Hogan signed more than 100 new bills into law.

For the first time in Maryland history, the Governor was flanked by two female African-American leaders as the presiding officers – Senate President Pro Tem Melony Griffith and House Speaker Adrienne Jones.

The bills address public safety, jobs, environmental stewardship and mental health resources, as well as the criminal justice system.
