In the waning days since the end of the 2023 Maryland General Assembly Legislative Session, hundreds more bills have been signed by Governor Wes Moore.
Legislation on cannabis will allow Maryland’s first legal recreational sales to begin on July 1. Existing growers, processors and dispensaries in the state’s medical industry can convert to a hybrid license.
Moore also signed legislation aimed at helping veterans, providing tax relief and reimbursement for health care.
