Today marks the first day in office for Maryland Governor Wes Moore and Lt. Governor Aruna Miller.
Making history in Maryland as the state’s first black Governor and as the first woman of color to be elected lieutenant governor, respectively, both were sworn into office today in Annapolis.
At the inauguration, Moore was introduced by Oprah Winfrey, and the ceremony included a flyover by the Maryland Air National Guard.
