Senator Cory McCray
District 45
Baltimore City
Born and raised in Baltimore, Senator Cory McCray is an electrician by trade who began buying and selling homes when he was just 20 years old.
It wasn’t until he was in his late 20’s though that he realized the importance of government — especially on a local level — prompting him to get more politically involved, to vote and later, to run for office. “Life is not about how well you do,” he says, “it’s about how many people you can get across the finish line with you.”
He’s an avid reader, especially on topics such as leadership, history and wealth. Get his recommended reading list.
