- 98% Seniors vaccinated
- 85.9% of adults vaccinated
- 84.9% of all eligible vaccinated
- Case rate down 39%
- Positivity rate down 37%
- Hospitalizations down 28%
- CDC granted approval for booster shots from Moderna and J&J
- Making boosters available for all Marylanders eligible (nearly 1.4 mil Marylanders)
- Have given nearly 280,000 booster shots statewide so far
- To determine your eligibility, look at your Vaccination card
- Pfizer or Moderna:
- 6 months ago or more, you’re eligible if you fall into one of these categories:
- 65 or older
- 18 or older with underlying conditions
- 18 or older with a high-risk job
- 6 months ago or more, you’re eligible if you fall into one of these categories:
- J&J:
- 2 months ago or more
- No special criteria
- Choose any vaccine as a booster: you can Mix and Match
- Pfizer or Moderna:
- In order to help determine eligibility, the Health Department has launched a new portal on covidvax.maryland.com
- Post-vaccination hospitalizations: occurred in 0.055% of vaccinated Marylanders
- Post-vaccination deaths: occurred in 0.007% of vaccinated Marylanders
- NEW PUBLIC HEALTH ADVISORY: It is strongly recommended that people with comorbidities receive either an additional dose or booster dose of a COVID-19 vaccine immediately.

- Completing prep for 5-11 year old vaccinations
- CDC clearance could come as early as next week
- State’s initial allocation is 180,000 doses
