Hogan Signs 79 Bills Into Law

Just hours after the close of the 2022 Legislative Session, Governor Hogan, joined by Senate President Bill Ferguson and House Speaker Adrienne A. Jones, among other staff and state officials, signed 79 bills into law. The bills include funding for stadiums, tax credits and economic development, plus other legislation.

A full list of the bills is available here on the Governor’s website.

What’s next? The Governor will likely sign additional bills in the coming week, with additional signing ceremonies possible in the next month. Legislators must present passed legislation to the Governor no later than 20 days post-session. The Governor then has 30 days to veto or sign that legislation, or it becomes law automatically.
