Preparation. Reputation. Dedication.
Our firm’s name is a tribute to Maryland’s state nickname – “The Old Line State” – a moniker earned by the courage, discipline and heroic sacrifices of Maryland’s soldiers during the American Revolution.
On August 27, 1776, during the Battle of Long Island, it was the Maryland 400 that stood strong and made sacrifices so that the Continental Army could could continue the fight for independence. George Washington would go on to refer to these heroic troops as the “old Line” that held steadfast to the line in battle. We salute those heroes and pay tribute through our name.
